Paul Rogers 

Paul is a Chartered Architect with over 25 years’ experience leading projects across the education, healthcare, residential and commercial sectors. As a Director at CMS Architects, he provides strategic oversight, leads client relationships, and drives design from inception through to completion.

He has extensive experience delivering projects within live operational environments and working closely with public-sector clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary consultant teams. His expertise spans low-carbon design, planning strategy, Building Regulations compliance, and Design & Build procurement.

Paul has successfully led numerous projects through all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work, with a particular strength in balancing design quality against commercial and programme constraints. He is known for his collaborative, pragmatic approach and focus on delivering clear, client-focused outcomes.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys staying active—whether that’s getting outdoors with his Beagle, Snoopy, mountain biking, or more recently playing padel. He also occasionally relives his youth at the odd rave or festival.

Hannah Gorvin

Hannah Gorvin is a highly accomplished Senior Architect with over a decade of experience, specialising in heritage led design and the sensitive restoration of historic buildings. A RIBA member and ARB registered professional, she combines strong academic credentials from the University of Bath and Oxford Brookes University with a meticulous, design led approach to practice.

Hannah has built a reputation for confidently leading complex heritage projects, working closely with Conservation Officers to deliver thoughtful, compliant solutions for listed buildings. Her expertise spans the preparation of heritage statements, securing listed building consents – including for Grade I and Grade II properties – and managing planning applications for both refurbishment and new developments.

Her portfolio reflects a deep understanding of historically significant environments, having worked on prestigious schemes such as the refurbishment of Grade I and II listed townhouses in Bath, Wiltshire and the Cotswolds, the restoration of Hotel Indigo in Bath, and the sensitive adaptation of heritage residential and education properties. Alongside this, she has contributed to larger scale developments, including retirement villages and specialist facilities, demonstrating her versatility across sectors.

Technically proficient and detail-oriented, Hannah is highly skilled in CAD, 3D modelling, and industry standard software, supported by strong project delivery capabilities. Known for her methodical job running and commitment to excellence, she consistently delivers high quality outcomes while bringing creative and considered design thinking to every project.

Her work is underpinned by a genuine passion for heritage architecture, making her a trusted and capable lead on projects requiring both sensitivity and technical rigour.

Ben Coulthard

Ben Coulthard is a highly experienced Senior Architectural Technician with over 26 years in the construction industry, with a meticulous approach to detailing and a comprehensive understanding of how a building is put together.

Ben’s project experience includes leading major developments such as the Wiltshire Air Ambulance HQ, Corsham House, and The Forge & Fern in Bristol, alongside industrial refurbishments like Grange Court Industrial Park.

Supported by relevant qualifications and specialist training, he consistently delivers technically robust, compliant and efficiently executed projects.

Ben is a family man who loves experimenting with his barbecue.

Leighton Williams

Leighton is a RIBA accredited and ARB registered Architect with over 10 years of practice experience. Leighton has developed a particular interest and expertise in the residential sector and considered to be an enthusiastic advocate for designing dwellings using a fabric first approach and ensuring optimal energy efficiency. Having worked on a broad range of property types he has developed a keen eye for traditional detailing and contemporary design. He has successfully led various complex residential and commercial projects from inception through to the construction phase and played pivotal role in developing several educational projects through the planning process.

Away from the office you may find him taking great delight in watching Bath rugby beat Bristol at the rec.

Hannah Hilditch

Hannah is a dedicated Architect with over 10 years of experience across a range of sectors and project scales. With particular expertise in the education and residential sectors, she brings a collaborative and detail-oriented approach to creating spaces that respond to the needs of clients, users, and communities.

Her experience includes delivering projects on challenging sites for new-build schools, coordinating complex MEP services for office retrofit schemes, and working on high-rise residential and student accommodation projects from concept through to completion. Hannah has strong technical expertise in BIM coordination, clash detection, and multidisciplinary team collaboration, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

She enjoys working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to develop practical, futureproof, and well-considered design solutions. Hannah is committed to balancing technical requirements with design quality, creating environments that are both functional and engaging for their users.

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys white water kayaking, life drawing and generally being outside with family and dog.

Grace Brooks

Having joined us fresh out of college as an apprentice Grace now has 10 years experience and grown into a confident Architectural Technician, having gained a broad variety of experience working on projects of all scales.

With experience in education, healthcare and residential Grace is quick to adapt to new projects and take their challenges in her stride.

In her free time Grace enjoys a wide range of fibre arts and can often be found playing table top games with friends.
