Chadbury Farm Shop, Evesham

Refurbishment and fit-out of an existing underused grain store into a farm shop, with associated office, storage, welfare and parking facilities.

Proposals were informed and developed with the benefit of a close working relationship with the clients. An initial constraints and opportunities assessment was carried out, followed by a feasibility assessment and an order of cost estimate, used to calculate the funding necessary for the development.

The feasibility report informed the outline business case to a stage conclusion that resulted in a pre-application consultation document being produced and presented to the local authority. The detailed business case was informed by the later planning permission, in turn leading to a tendered contract for the works. The project used local trades for the construction and fit out.

The shop houses a fresh meat and deli counter as well as fruits and vegetables, sourcing most of its products locally from the Vale of Evesham. Chadbury Farm Shop & Café remains a thriving business to this day.
