Cumberland Villa/ Always Sunday House

CMS were appointed as Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Lead Consultant and Principal Designer for the works on this beautiful Georgian property in Bath, originally built in 1824 as part of the Bathwick Hill development by John Pinch. The project included the extensive heritage-focused refurbishment of the family home and surrounding gardens.

Various works were completed on the house, all approached carefully so as not to affect the integrity of the Listed Building or diminish its heritage status. These included improvement to access routes through the house, refurbishment of the original French doors, conversion of the dressing room to an ensuite, replacement of sliding doors with a simplified design, and general repair and maintenance works. Full landscape works were also carried out, whilst retaining the flagstone terrace.

CMS are incredibly proud to have contributed to this gorgeous Georgian property, which recently featured in The Times.
