PROJECT SUMMARY

Refurbishment works to existing and aging Devizes Leisure Centre gym facilities and fi tness suite, to update and improve the spaces whilst
providing top-quality fi tness, weightlifting and dance facilities. The scheme was targeted to make substantial improvements to the Wiltshire Council provided Gym facilities to improve memberships/usage.

The works have provided the venue with improved lighting, air conditioning, audio-visual and door access systems. This was to provide the best
environment available for the facility users of the gym.

The refurbishment works was complimented with the provision of new equipment throughout the fi tness suite including:

• A revamped weights room with an Olympic lifting rack, Smith Machine and 4-in-1 rack.
• The functional fi tness zone now features Watt bikes, curved treadmills, tyre-fl ip and rig areas.
• The centre also has a new consultation room and dance studio.

This project has meant a worthwhile investment in high quality equipment,
greatly enhancing fi tness facilities available within Wiltshire.
