CMS Architects were appointed by high end residential developer Ashford Homes for RIBA Stages 0-3 obtaining planning approval for this residential development of 16 contemporary houses, on a former industrial site. The homes were designed in 5 different styles, varying size/tenures with flexible living accommodation, pleasant outlook, and landscaped gardens. Lengthy negotiations were undertaken with the Local Authority to resolve S106 issues, affordable housing provision and vacant building credit.
The site was subsequently sold with the benefit of planning permission approved.
