CMS Project Managers & Surveyors were engaged by a private client in 2015 to act as Project Managers, Contract Administrators and Quantity Surveyors on the £8m project to undertake the extensive restoration, extension and upgrade of their private dwelling.
The extension, alteration and refurbishment of a privately owned Grade 2* listed property to reinstate the property to a family residence.
The extension works include a reinstatement of a previously demolished East Wing to provide additional reception rooms on the ground floor,
and a master bedroom suite on the first floor. The footprint of the previously lost wing is the basis for the extension, to reinstate the property to its previous form.
Internal works include the modernisation of the building services to gain improved functionality and efficiencies to the buildings performance,
whilst maintaining the historic features and designs required under the listing.
