Private Dwelling, The Cotswolds
CMS had the rare opportunity to be involved in the architectural development of an orangery in the grounds of this beautiful dwelling in The Cotswolds. A combination of MMC with a natural stone exterior has created this traditional looking structure that we hope will be enjoyed for generations to come.
The choice was made to utilise a Bath stone from the Limpley Stoke quarry to take advantage of its excellent weathering qualities, provided by local contractor Farmington Masonry. With a feature fireplace, underflooring heating is provided throughout by means of an air source heat pump.
The project worked alongside landscape designer Angel Collins to ensure this new structure was in keeping with the landscape and would in time will blend into its surroundings.
