This project involved the conversion and extension of an infant’s school to form a modern medical premises.

The school was located in a conservation area, which resulted in the Planning department requesting a contemporary design in contrast to the characteristics of the old school building. This was achieved by using modern materials with slender detailing that resulted in emphasising the main facade of the original building.

Externally and internally the combination achieved a modern concept combining functionality whilst retaining the original aesthetics of the building.
